Affiliate Disclosure

Where’s My Holiday is a free travel guide, and creating it costs time and money. To keep the site free for everyone, some of the links on our pages are affiliate links.

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a normal link to a travel provider — a hotel booking site, a flight search, a car-hire comparison — that includes a small tracking reference. If you click one and go on to make a booking, the provider may pay us a small commission. You never pay more by using our links — the price you see is exactly the same as if you had visited the provider directly.

Who we work with

Our booking links point to established travel providers such as Booking.com for hotels and accommodation, flight search services for airfares, and DiscoverCars for car hire, through affiliate networks such as Travelpayouts. Links to hotels’ own websites and to official transport operators (metro systems, ferry companies, airport trains) are provided for your convenience and are generally not affiliate links.

Our editorial independence

Commissions never decide what we recommend. Every destination, hotel and provider on this site is chosen by our own research and editorial judgement first — the affiliate relationship, where one exists, comes second. We recommend plenty of things that earn us nothing at all, and no provider can pay to be featured in our guides.

Why we do it this way

Affiliate commissions are what let us keep Where’s My Holiday free, with no paywall, no subscription and no sponsored posts dressed up as advice. If you find our guides useful, booking through our links is a lovely (and free) way to support the site.
